This is one of the most comprehensive and useful reviews of postal markings from 1845-1869. The organization is very well thought out. It is organized by subject (type of cancel). The indexes are complete, and useful. The figures are clear, and the photographs are well done.
My Copy:
My copy is in very good condition. The binding is as sound as the day it was new. The cover is in mechanically excellent shape; however, several small blemishes are visible as well as a pressure depression on the front.
