While Oracle 9i started a new breed of standards based SQL use in Oracle, people still stuck with v8 Oracle still must contend with all the strange Oracle-isms that we have come to love and hate. This book is well organized and actually forms a good tutorial as well as reference. The writing is clear and understandable.
